red lights catcall metronome sound dance match song men smiling women dancing amsterdam prostitution few people watching at first crowd grows men dance along filming cheering at end stop trafficking as at end people look confused when we first watched the piece i was very confused and didn’t understand the point of what was happening. i was disturbed by the faces that the men were making while watching the women dance, and i though it was not appropriate of them to be catcalling and filming. i finally understood the purpose by the end. it was to raise awareness about the problem of prostitution anoung women. i though that this was a strong message that needs to be talked about more, but all the men looked ver disappointed. some looked ashamed, but most just looked flat out disappointed. i think that once u get to the end it was a very good way of starting a conversation that may be hard for others to talk about. though many problem are just ignored and set aside these da...

silent movie feedback

overall i enjoyed this movie very much, even though it was quite different than our classes movie. in their movie you could definitely easily tell who’s character was who’s, and they kept it steady through out the whole movie. it was entertaining to watch and i enjoyed the music they picked. in this silent movie all the actors had really good facial expression. their face easily told the entire story. i also really enjoyed the music they picked while editing. i though it was very fitting and complimented the acting well. i also liked the comedy aspect of this movie, it made me laugh. one thing i think they could have done better would have been editing. if they had added in another sound affect here and there, or some words at the bottom i think it would have added more humor. all in all i really enjoyed their movie.

Silent movie reflection

This silent movie project was a very eye opening experience for me. It was a entire new set of skills needed in order to produce the final product. Since no words could be used, we had to really work on our facial expressions, camera angle, and staging. When we were filming I had to constantly remind myself FACE FACE FACE not WORDS WORDS WORDS. I think one thing we did well with was each character was very unique, and each had a very funny and special quirk. These quirks made the overall movie very funny. Whenever one of the would “Wipeout”, it had a taste of their personally in it. This made it so interesting to watch. In my opinion it was so hard not to use words. In everyday life when you want someone to know something you say it. But in this project you couldn’t. If you wanted the audience to know something you had use your face to say it. This was a very new and difficult skill for me to grasp. Another aspect I really enjoyed about this project was process of it all coming toget...
